If you’ve never stumbled across the Feminist Review Blog, you should check it out. Other than the fact we were reviewed there, it’s a great blog with over 300 contributing writers that represent all kinds of views. They review fashion, books, music, etc… worth checking it out. We’ve been reviewed by Gina Hobbs and Payal Patel…our thanks to smart women who got what we’re doin! Here’s the most recent:

Superhero Goth GirlGoth just got great! Furlesque presents a flattering black and white print t-shirt with an original watercolour drawing of a Goth girl sporting a small top and underwear. Its image screams attitude, freedom and independence. She’s sulky, angry and perhaps a little fearless—More of an antihero than a superhero I’d say, and probably the best kind, since it’s the antihero’s role to disturb the status quo.

Another detail that goes against convention is its inside-out seams and raw-edge bottom hem and sleeves. Made from 100% soft cotton its breathable fabric has a lightweight feel that is lovely against your skin. Scoop-necked with an exaggerated arm-length, it adds shape, compliments the curvy figure, and is cool enough to wear on warm or hot days.

Styled and crafted by entrepreneur Maggie and designed by artist Dion Macellari, these creators of Furlesque name their existing series of clothing ‘Pop culture Victims’. This funky tee, full of sass, is worth the price tag.
