We’re working hard this weekend on promoting the Unique Los Angeles event that’s coming next weekend! Very grateful to our friends at “Home” restaurant in Los Feliz and Silverlake/Echo Park (both locations) who are helping us to promote the event through their restaurant – passing out promo cards to customers!!! I understand there’s also a hard-working crew out at the UCLA Festival of Books this weekend – they are passing out cards there too. If you’re in Los Angeles this coming weekend – - hopefully you will come by. Check out the fantastic site for the event: www.uniquelosangeles.com

For local Angelenos – today Furlesque will be at the fun and friendly Sherman Oaks Flea Market….located at Riverside & Woodman, 3 – 8 pm. Food – fun and furlesque! More deets here!
So I added Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing” to our myspace page this week…..why?
Well, I donned my new Guess boots and went out dancing this past weekend. We went to a great bar in LA – Bar 107 – downtown – no pretense – no cover – great mix of people – oh, and did I mention the drinks are good! There were 4 of us and we all just danced our butts off – breaking it up with video games (“Donkey Kong” and “Galaga” if you’re ready for that)…..but what was the moment you don’t forget was when the DJ played Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing”…..(I have chills thinking about it.) As most of you know….it’s the song that’s on everyone’s mind since the finale of the Sopranos where they play it in the final scene. As it played, everyone started singing it….screeeeeaming it – like the freakin national anthem……the place was on fire with everyone going crazy….it was just a Journey Sopranos Saturday night looooooovefest…….blew the roof off the joint……
Ask a DJ to play it if you’re at a club or put it on the jukebox….then stand back and watch the sparks fly…
